OFF BELGIAN COAST SPANISH RAIDER AGAIN REPORTED REAPPEARANCE DUTCH TUG TO RESCUE By Telegraph—Press Assoclation-r-Copyright Independent Cable Service (Received November 9, 10.20 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 9 A Spanish cargo vessel, the name of which is not yet known, is sinking five miles from the Wandelar Lightship, off the Belgian coast, near the entrance to the "West Scheldt, says a message from Amsterdam. A Dutch tug has gone to the rescue.
The sinking ship is reported to have been attacked by a vessel resembling the Nadir, the auxiliary cruiser belonging to General Franco's navy which last week sank the Spanish steamer Cantabria off the Norfolk coast.
A tug from Flushing and motor-boats from Zeebrugge and Ostend failed to find any trace of the vessel, says a later cable, while the whereabouts of the Nadir are still a mystpry, although the British steamer Hawkwood sighted a similar craft 50 miles from the Humber, heading south.
