INVESTORS CONCERNED

OPINION IN AUSTRALIA "A number of people I met with investments in New Zealand are a little concerned, in view of the return of the Labour Government," said Mr. It. S. Thompson , managing-director of Thompson and Hills, Limited, who returned by the Wanganella yesterday after a business visit to Sydney and Melbourne. "The general talk is that there is a tremendous amount of capital from New Zealand going to Australia,' Mr. Thompson added. "Business people in Australia do not like the idea of a Labour Government because of their experience of the Lang Government. Mr. Thompson mentioned that some Australians who owned property in New Zealand also seemed concerned about the Government. No specific reason was given, but property-owners , seemed generally apprehensive of what course of action tha Government might take.
