ARMY PURGE LIKELY
MORE ARRESTS IN RUSSIA MOSCOW, Oft. 21 There are indications of a new purge of the I?ed Army. M. Cheremin. chief of the military police in the Volga district, has been arrested in addition to a high staff officer and others connected with the Far East Army. M. Cheremin allegedly aided spies and held anti-Government meetings.
