KENSINGTON CLUB'S TOURNEY [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Tuesday The Kensington Bowling Club held a pairs tournament on Labour Day, when McDonald, with 4 wins, secured the skips prize and Fleming, Doel, Coxsmith and Georgeson, with 4 wins each, are to play off for the leads. Entries totalled 40, and four rounds were played. WHANGAREI MATCHES [from our own correspondent] WHANGAREI, Tuesday The winning lead in the Whangarei Bowling Club's pairs tourney on Labour Day was S Lamb. Three skips. Jounneaux. Westwall and Marwick, were even, Jounneaux being successful in tho draw. WALTON CLUB [from our own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday Tho Walton Bowling Club held a full-rink tournament yesterday, visitors being present from Mataraata, Te Aroha, Morrinsvllle and Arapuni. Twelvo rinks took part. The visitors complimented the Walton Club on the state of its green and the general management of the tournament. Rinks skipped by F. Livingstone (Walton) and W. Crabb (Matamata) were even with five wins and no losses. In the play-off of seven heads Crabb's rink won. MORRINSVILLE CLUB [from our own correspondent] MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday Twenty players took part in the Morrinsvilie Bowling Club's Labour Day progressive pairs tournament. The winners were D. Johnson (lead) and W. A. Wallis (skip).
