AUSTRALIAN ATHLETES

DOMINION VISIT MOOTED INVITATION FROM WELLINGTON (Received October 25, 7.35 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 25 The Australian athletes J. Mumford, J. Metcalfe and Miss Decima Norman have been invited to make a short tour of New Zealand. A letter was received by the New South Wales Amateur Athletic Association from the Wellington Centre asking for official sanction. Although the State body does not oppose the proposal, it was decided to advise the Wellington Centre that its proper course would be to make an application through the New Zealand Association to the Australian Amateur Athletic Union.
