PUKEMIRO JUNCTION CLUB The Pukemiro Junction Pigeon Club held a race for old birds from Wellington, an -airline distance of 253 miles. Results:—Mr. A. Lawson's entry, 711 yds per min. 1: Mr. A. Tait's entry, 700 yds, 2; Mr. A. Tait's entry, 708.9 yd*. 3. HAMILTON CLUB'S EVENT [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON", Tuesday The Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club conducted a race on Saturday from Christchurch. With bad weather prevailing, the race proven a difficult one, only two birds arriving in race time. The winning bird, the property of Bushell Brothers, won the silver cup donated by Mr. P. Petry. The results were:—Bushell Brothers' b c c, 174, 505 yds per min., 1; C. Crabb's r hj, 577, 463 yds, 2.
