RESULTS AT TE KUITI LOCAL TEAM SUCCESSFUL [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] TE KUITI, Tuesday Teams from Te Aroha, Waihi, Devonport, Matamata, Cambridge, Pukekohc, Thames, Te Awamutu, Taumarunui, Raetihi, Birkenhead, and Te Kuiti competed at the Auckland District United Fire Brigades' Association's demonstration at Te Kuiti. The Te Kuiti A team won the championship and the Breretou Shield, Taumarunui being runner-up in both cases. The events resulted as follows: — Two-men Hose and Standpipe.—Devonport. 13s, 1 ; Te Aroha. 43 3-ss. 2; Pukekohe. It 2-ss, 3. Four-men Hose and Standpipe.—Te Kuiti, 545. 1; Thames. • 555, 'J; Taumarunui. 56 I-ss, 3. Four-men Motor Kvent With Ladder. — Devonport, 575, 1; Te Kuiti, 78s. 2; Taumarunui, 88 3-ss, 3. Three Men Disabled.—Taumarunui, 50s. 1; Te Kuiti, 55 l-ss, Pukekohe, 56 l-ss. 3. Four-men Motor Event, flat.—Te Aroha, 62 s, 1; Cambridge. 665, 2; Taumarunui, 70s. 3. Dummy Rescue Event.—Te Kuiti A, 435, 1; Pukekohe, 465. 2; Te Kuiti B, 48s. 3. Ladder Race.—F. Drew, Te Kuiti, 8 2-ss, 1; R. Leggett, Te Kuiti, and E. J. Peterson, Te Kuiti, 8 3-ss, 2.
