These aro now on the basis of £IOO New Zealand: Buying, £9O; selling. £BB 1-s Gd. At this rate £IOO deposited in New Zealand for transfer to Fiji will produce £BB 12s 0(1 in Suva, while a demand bill on Fiji for £9O will realise £IOO in New Zealand currency. Previously £IOO New Zealand pro diiced £B!)'in Suva, while a demand] bill on Fiji for £9O 7s <3d yielded £IOO in New Zealand.
NESTLE AND ANGLO-SWISS Nestle and Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company (Australasia), _ Limited, reports a net profit of £199,177 for the year ended Juno 24, compared with £176,672 in the previous year. The dividend on the ordinary shares, which are all held by Nestle (Switzerland), has been increased from 10 to 12 per cent, and requires £120,000. Tho preference dividend absorbs £BO,OOO, and £B9l-"5 is carried forward against £9767 brought into the accounts.
