HOLIDAY FOR BOXER
The National Sporting Club has offered to finance Benny Lynch, of Knglrfnd, former fly-weight champion of the world, for a two-months' holiday, followed by a sea cruise for a mouth to enable him to recover his form. I lie club explains that Lynch should be able to win the bantam-weight championship of the world from Sixto Esco-j nar, of Puerto Rica. Lynch suffered bis greatest humiliation when be was .knocked out at the National Sporting Club by a Rumanian, Aure! Toma. Lynch was flabby, dull-eyed and a caricature of his former greatness.
