SERVICES TO HOSPITAL

RECOGNITION BY BOARD The' services rendered to the Auckland Hospital by the late Mother Hannah, Mother Superior of the Order of the Good Shepherd, and by Mr. John Farrcll, architect to the board, were recognised at a meeting of the board last night. The chairman. Mr. Allan J. Moody, said Mr. Farrcll had been appointed supervisor of the building contracts at the hospital in December, 1929, and in July, 19:50, he was appointed architect to 'the board. Referring to Mother Hannah, Mr. Moody mentioned her devoted .'SO years of activity, and said she was a foundation member of the Hospital Auxiliary. • In succession, to his late father, Mr. R. Farrcll, was appointed temporary architect to tho board.
