GOLF CHAMPION'S VISIT
The South African professional golfer, Hobby Locke, will play a match against the well-known New Zealand professional, A. Murray, at Titirangi on Saturday week. The stakes will be £2o a side., Locke has already played a number of matches in Australia and lie has been defeated by J. Ferrier and N, Von Nida. In a return match with von Nifla the South African was successful bv 3 and 2 over 36 boles. It. is to be regretted that the date of the match with. Murray clashes with the open Tournaments which are being held by v tbe Auckland and Maungakiekie clubs, but it if} understood that it was impossible to arrange any other suitnl'ilt' day.
