NORTH PALESTINE FIERCE FIGHTING LARGE FORCE ENGAGED MORE BRITISH TROOPS By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright .(Received September 16, 5.45 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 15 Thirteen "aeroplanes and every available roldier in Northern Palestine were engaged against the largest Arab force assembled since the outbreak of trouble, says a despatch from Jerusalem. The conflict waged for hours around the village of Dierghassen, near Tulkarem. . Soldiers blocked all exits from the battlefield. It is believed that at least 100 Arabs jy.ere killed. E'ive aircraft cooperating with the military repulsed brigands between Jerusalem and Hebron, killing 20. It is reported that 12 were killed in other encounters. Two cavalry squadrons, another battalion from England and three battalions from India aro going to Palestine. EARLIER OUTRAGES 16 KILLED BY LANDMINE FURTHER RIOTS OCCUR JERUSALEM, Sept. 15 • Six Jews and 10 Arabs were killed in a landmine explosion. In a second occurrence of the same kind three British and 11 Arabs were injured. Riots are reported from other Jerusalem districts.
