Walling" merits this slogan applied to him on account of Jiis mystery stories, lie is in nood form in his latest book, "The Coroner Doubts," and his famous character, Tolefrce. in spite of the jury's verdict of suicide, takes up the coroner's doubts and eventually the guilty party is discovered. The revolver belonged to the murdered man, all tho discoverable imprints were also his — indeed tho suicide theory seemed in-evitable—but-read "the ingenious Mr. R. A. J. Walling" and find out the contrary, "The Coroner Doubts," by R. A. .T. Walling. (Hodder and Stoughton).
