THE MINING MARKET QUIET TRADING FLUCTUATIONS IN METALS Little attention was paid to the mining market on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Trading was confined to New Rivers, which were taken at 6d. Metal issues fluctuated, and, although levels eased near the close, they were still above those of the previous day. Gold shares were steady. Closing quotations were:—
