PRESENTATIONS
The congregation at First Church, Frankton, entertained Mr. and Mrs. R. Kay at a social prior to their departure for" a trip abroad. Mr. Kay, who has been treasurer of the church for 19 years, was presented with a fountain' pen and propelling pencil, while Mrs. Kay, who has* been an active member of the Ladies' Guild, received a handbag. At a social function, the president of the Papakura Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club. Mr. F. Osborne, made a presentation, on behalf of the members, of a camera, to Mr. J. Paterson, one of the club's foremost athletes, who has been accepted for a commission in tho Hoval Air Force, and leaves for England next week. Mr. Paterson was also the guest of honour at a dance held by the Papakura Anglican parishioners and presented with a fountain pen.
