BALLET MASTER
VISITOR FROM ENGLAND [BY telegraph—OWN CORRESPONDENT?] WELLINGTON, Friday With the object of viewing dancing talent in New Zealand Mr. E. D. Espanosa, of the British Ballet, London, and a well-known ballet master, arrived by the Aw a tea yesterday from Sydney. Mr. Espanosa is chairman and examiner of the British Ballet Organisation and claims to be the oldest ballet master and teacher of dancing actively engaged. Mr. Espanosa said his organisation intended awarding a scholarship to Australia and New Zealand. Tho winner would receive three months' intensive training with him in London, be his guest at his home and be guaranteed four weeks' professional engagement as one of the solo dancers in British ballet this year. The scholarship would he awarded on his return to Australia at the end of this month. Mr. Espanosa is holding auditions in e.llington and will leave for Auckland to-morrow. He sails for Sydney oa July 26.
