WELLINGTON CLUB'S WIN By the narrow margin of one point the Wellington Chess Club defeated the Auckland Chess Club in a semi-final of the telegraphic contest for the Bledisloe Cup. The final scores were: Wellington, 10$ points; Auckland. 9} points. Wellington will meet Otago in the final to-day and next Saturday, and as Otago was victorious in its encounter in the final last year, the matches promise to bo close.
