SYMONDS STREET CEMETERIES
Sir, —-Surely the heads of tlio various denominations concerned will take action to prevent the proposed desecration of the Symonds Street cemeteries. As the owner of a plot there 1 maintain that the council members have no more right to order the removal of my enclosing fence or my memorial cross than 1 have to remove the fences and ornamental shrubs, etc., from their private homes. Ownkk.
