CANADIAN FARMING • SCOTSMAN'S GENEROSITY VANCOUVER. July 6 The former owner of the Glasgow Herald, Captain J. C. Dunwater, announces a donation of 2-500 acres to be developed in British Columbia as a ranch at Vernon, on the 1< airbridge Schools system, organised to teach United Kingdom boys Canadian farming and to promote Empire sett! cm cut. The gift is valued at about i'oO.OOO. A house is to be built immediately for 150 boys from the settlement farm at Duncan, British Columbia. Captain Dunwater is returning to JBritain.
