July 7 There was a further development Jfco-day at the hearing in the Central [police Court of the case against fEric Campbell, aged 45, solicitor, Herbert William jkloyd, aged 54, member of the {Legislative Assembly, and Richard Dewsbury, accountant, who charged with conspiracy to Counsel for the Crown, Mr. J. ■ Ifchand, told the Magistrate that ieharges of perjury had been preferred tngainst Campbell and Dewsbury, arising out of certain replies they gave in She Equitv Court proceedings on March 15, which led to the present proceedings. Both men wcro then formally xcharged with perjury. Mr Shand said tho evidence to be sciven in regard to the alleged conspiracy would also be evidence relating '"to the charge of perjury.
