BAHA'I SOCIETY
MONTHLY MEETING The club rooms of the Baha'i Society were brightly decorated with spring flowers 'when numerous interested visitors were welcomed to the monthly meeting on Wednesday. An address was first given by Miss Mills, a visitor, who spoke of the great amount of work being done in the world by kindred societies for peace and cooperation, in spite of the apparent growing chaos, and of the necessity for co-ordinating their efforts. Following this address was a talk by Airs'. Gordon Kobertson, outlining the salient points of the Baha'i conception of a new order of things. The scheme of a new order of society in the future, an earth-wide system based on spiritual faith, was sketched, and the possibilities of abolition of poverty under this scheme were discussed. A< pianoforte bolo was played by Mrs. Gordon'Hobertson.
