TAKAPUNA RATES
Sir, —A great amount of discussion is going on about the city rates. What about Takapuna rates? I live in a sixroomed* house in Takapuna on an ordinary section, and have just received a demand note from the Borough Council for £2l, and, to beat all, the money is demanded one month earlier than last year's. Jll other words, the last yearly demand has lasted only 11 months. The above £'2l does not include the minimum water rate, which is £1 lis (sd. Haru Hit.
