OBITUARY
MRS. FRANCIS HUGHES [from oun OWN cokrespondknt] HUNTLY, Wednesday , The death has occurred of an old resident of Huntly, Mrs. Francis Hughes. She was 85 years of age. Mrs. Hughes, who was born at Whitehaven, Cumberland, England, was married twice, and both her husbands predeceased her in England. She came to New Zealand in the ship Oswestry Grange in June, 1906. Mrs. Hughes lived in Huntly for 32 years. She is survived by one son, a step-son and two daughters.
