FRENCH COLONIES
GOLD PROSPECTING PLANS PARIS, Juno 30 A decree has been promulgated permitting about £560,000 to be advanced to the French colonies in West Africa, Equatorial Africa and Guiana for prospecting areas likely to be auriferous. Seven tons of gold were produced in the French colonies in 1937.
