PARACHUTIST'S DEATH
AIR DEPARTMENT INQUIRY [BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION] WESTPORT, "Wednesday The assistant-controller of civil aviation, Flight-Lieutenant J. M. Buckeridge, and Flight-Lieutenant J. Taylor, of the Air Department, flew from Wellington to Westport to-day to conduct a preliminary investigation into tho cause of death of the parachutist Mr. G. W. Sellars, who was killed on IVorth Beach on Saturday when making a descent. They inspected the parachutes used by Mr. Sellars and will make a report later.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
DUNEDIN ARRANGEMENTS [BY TELEGRAFH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] DUNEDIN, Wednesday The body of the parachutist Mr. G. W. Sellars reached Dunedin this morning. Pilots of tho Otago Aero Club have arranged nn impressive funeral ceremony. Leading tho cortoge will be tho club instructor, who will carrv Mr. Sollars' flying helmet, which will be placed on tho coffin at the graveside. The pallbearers will bo club pdots.
