Wilson, chairman of stewards in Brisbane, and his two brother officials have had their engagements terminated. Last week they were given three months' notice. It is understood that the committee of the Queensland Turf Club and the stewards have npt seen eve to eye for some months, and in inner 'circles the news came as no surprise. At a meeting of the committee of the Waipa Racing Club on Thursday the progress of the improvement schemo to tho racecourse was discussed. Mr. A. H. Storey stated that the reconstruction would not be completed for Borne months, but when finished the racecourse would be without superior in the Dominion.
