INDUCTION SERVICE

CEREMONY AT MOUNT EDEN A special service for the induction of the Revs. J. F. Jack and W. R. Laws was held in the Mount Eden Methodist Church, Auckland East Circuit, on Thursday evening, the Rev. W. Walker, of the Remuera Church, presiding. The Rev. F. Copeland delivered the charge to the new ministers and the Rev, W. T. Blight, of Trinity College, addressed the congregation. After the service a social was held in the schoolroom. Addresses were delivered by the Revs. Copeland, Jack and Laws and Messrs. P. Dellow and E. R. Warburton. The chairman, Mr. G. M. Stnbbs, on behalf of the Mount Eden congregation, extended to the new ministers and mentioned that Mr. Laws would commence his ministry at Mission Bay, in the Berkeley Theatre, on May 1. He stated that a movement was in progress for the erection of a church in that district and it was hoped it would be opened in about six months. ,
