PORT OF AUCKLAND LITTLE SHIPPING ACTIVITY There was remarkably little shipping activity at the Port or Auckland yesterday. 110 overseas vessels arriving or departing. There will bo much moro activity to-day, however, and as Anzac Day will bo observed as a holiday on the waterfront, the port will be very busy by Tuesday. The Union Company's steamer Wainui is expected at Auckland from Wellington on Monday. She will berth at King's Wharf.

The Union Company's steamer Kairanga will leave Calliope Dock at nine o'clock this morning and will berth at the Western Viaduct to continue overhaul.

The excursion steamer Duchess will make her final excursion cruise of the season to Kawau to-morrow, and on the return trip will call at Motukiti to visit the sailing ship Hcwa.

The "Union Company's steamer Omana. en route from Melbourne, will reach Portland on Monday morning and will proceed to Auckland, Napier and Tarakohe. She is due here about Wednesday.

The Union Company's motor-ship Waiana is due at Auckland from "Wellington tomorrow morning. She will berth at Prince's "Wharf and will sail about Wednesday for Napier and Melbourne, taking cargo from Auckland for the latter port. In the service of the Gisborne Sheepfarmers' Frozen Meat and Mercantile Company, the motor-vessel Margaret W. is expected at Auckland early this morning. She will leave on her return to the East Coast on Tuesday evening. The Richardson Line motor-ship Pukeko is now due at Auckland from the East Coast to-morrow morning. She will berth at King's Wharf to discharge general cargo, including 500 bales of wool, and will leave on Tuesday evening for East Coast bays. Gisborne and Napier.

THE OLIYEBANK The Bank Line motor-ship Olivebank, which is discharging phosphate from Nauru at King's Wharf, is expected to sail this afternoon for Nauru. HERTFORD LATER The Federal Line steamer Hertford, which is loading in the South for Southampton, Dunkirk and London, is now not expected at Auckland until May 2. THE BRISBANE STAR The Blue Star Line motor-ship Brisbane Star, which is loading for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain at Queen's Wharf, is scheduled to sail finally on Tuesday at 5 p.m. THE BRISBANE MARTJ The Osaka Syosen Kaisya motor-ship Brisbane Maru is .expected at Auckland from Osaka early this morning. She will take the berth vacated at Central Wharf by the Canadian Challenger. THE DORIC STAR The Bine Star Line steamer Doric Star will reach Auckland from London on Tuesday evening. She will berth at Prince's Wharf, and after discharge here will proceed to Dunedin and New Plymouth. THE / CITY OF YOKOHAMA The M.A.N.Z. Line Bteamer City of Yokohama is expected at Auckland from Halifax at noon to-morrow. She will berth at Prince's Wharf and after discharge here will proceed to Wellington.

THE LINER FRANCONIA The Cunard-White Star liner Franconls, in the course of a world cruise, will reach Auckland from Wellington at 8 a.m. on Tuesday. She will berth at Western Wharf and will sail for Suvai. at 7 p.m. oh Thursday. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER The M.A.N.Z. Line steamer Canadian Challenger, which is loading at Central Wharf for New York, Boston and Montreal, will move this morning to King's Wharf. She will leave at daylight to-morrow for Napier to continue loading. THE PORT DENISON The Port Line steamer Port Denison is scheduled to leave New Plymouth this afternoon for Auckland, where she is expected on Tuesday morning. She will berth at King's Wharf to commence loading for London and West Coast ports of Great Britain.
