BRYANT HOUSE

MAINTENANCE OF HOME HONORARY MANAGER'S ABSENCE [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday Prior to his departure for an extended tour abroad, Mr. D. V. Bryant, of Hamilton, honorary manager of the Bryant House trustees, has made arrangements for the conduct of Bryant House, Raglan, during his absence. His brother, Mr. J. T. Bryant, of Matangi, has been added to the board of trustees. Mr. Bryant stated that the Government had made labour available for developing the trustees' property of 1800 acres at Tirau, and one effect of this assistance was that the work done was expediting the trustees' scheme for erecting a separate home for convalescent women at Raglan. The trustees hoped to be able to proceed with the erection of this institution within a reasonable time.
