BASEBALL PARTY

Y.W.C.A. SEASON ENDS PRESENTATION OF TROPHY A baseball party was held in the Y.W.C.A. gymnasium on Saturday night to mark the culmination of the summer sports season. A comprehensive programme of games was received enthusiastically by the many sports girls present. The general secretary of the Young Women s Christian Association, Miss Elsie Bennet, led a successful period of community singing. Mrs'. Stevenson acted as accompanist. A feature of the evening was the presentation of the Walker and Hall Cup to the winning team 58, captained by Lorna Goldie. Dancing followed supper, and the end of the baseball season was marked by a round of cheers.
