MEASLES EPIDEMIC
KAIKOHE SCHOOL TO CLOSE [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] KAIKOHE, Friday In answer to a telephonic communication this morning, the-Auckland Education Board authorised tho "Kaikoho school committee to close the Kaikohe District High School until after the Easter holidays. The ground for the committee's request was that, the attendance at the school was so reduced by tho measles epidemic that it scented futile to carry on at present. There were 127 pupils absent to-day out of a roll number of just under 200,
