DIPPING THE SHEEP
Dear Anne Shirley,—Wo are having such dry weather here in fact, this summer and autumn nave been exceptionally dry, and the hottest for many years. The cows are drying off now on account of the weather.
We have been dipping our sheep, and when they were finished we pushed the dogs in. They didn't like it at all, and afterwards rubbed themselves on the grass and rolled on the sand. Well, I will close now, with love from Rose Ralph, Taumaranui.
