Thursday Advice has been received in Potorua (hat owing to illness the Minister of Internal Affairs, tho Hon. W. E. Parry, will be unable to visit the district to attend the official opening of the Uruika meeting house at Rotoiti at the weekend. In reply to a request by Maori people that he perform the opening ceremony the Minister stated: —"I have asked the Hon. P. C. Webb, who will act on behalf of the Government, and in my place, kindly to convey to all assembled at the gathering my <ieep regret at not being able to join' with them on this great occasion."
