REBEL ARAB ARMY SYRIAN DOCTOR'S ACTION A RECRUITING SLOGAN JERUSALEM, Nov. 9 A Syrian doctor is raising a rebel Arab army in the hills along tho Jordan River. He is Dr. Amine Rowaliy, aged 10, who fled to Bagdad from Syria alter lighting against the French in lOL'6. His recruiting slogan is: "Free treatment for the wounded." The effectiveness of the slogan lies in tho fact that wounded rebels are afraid to visit doctors, lest questions be asked of them. Rowahy, after his flight from Syria, joined the staff of a leading Bagdad hospital. He has a complete set of medical instruments and a substantial measure of medical skill. Tho doctor comes of a family of aristocratic Moslems owning much land m North-west Syria. His elder brother is a well-known Arabic classical poet, and Dr. Rowahy himself has written many articles on a diversity of subjects. His Armenian Christian wife is living in Bagdad in ignorance of her husband's latest political activities.
