[from our own correspondent] HUNTLY, Thursday At the Huntly Canvas Canoe Club's annual meeting the following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr, F. Macdonald; president, Mr. W. Moyes; trustees, Messrs. D. Oillings and E. Spiers; secretary, Mr. D. Gillings; committee, Messrs. E. Speirs, S. Bennett, F. Hilton, T. Shaw, A. Allen, D. McNee, G. Moyes, Misses E. Partridge and J. Huston; haridicappers, Messrs. ,E. Speirs and S. Bennett; Judge, Mr. W. Callaghan; starter, Mr. D. Gillings; assistant, Mr. S. Bennett; auditors, Messrs. J. Harris and R. Harris. The report showed the club to bo in a souud financial position.
