DEGREES CONFERRED
TWO DOCTORS OF LAWS NEW ZEALAND UNIVERSITY [nv TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday The degree of doctor of laws was conferred on Mr. Norman Arthur Fodcn, of Wellington, and Mr. Boss Hepburn, of Christchurch, at the monthly meeting of the executive committee of tho New Zealand University Senate to-day. Dr. Fodcn is a prominent Wellington barrister and solicitor and an actingCrown solicitor in the Crown Law Office. Tie is lecturer in accountancy and law at Victoria University College. Dr. Hepburn is a barrister and solicitor in Christchurch, and is a member of the New Zealand Society of Accountants.

Bachelor of Arts.—Canterbury University College: John Martns Amiers, Joyce Strachan Bell. University of Otago: Gordon Stuart Doig. Bachelor of Science. —Canterbury College: Gordon Noel Mac Donald.
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.—University of Otago; Alexander Stuart King, Ernest Going Loten.
Bachelor of Dental Surgery.—University of Otago: Noel Ernest Mathcwson.
