WOMAN FRACTURES ANKLE

A fracture of the left ankle was suffered by Mrs. Sarah Anne McKenzio, aged 74, of 14 Marun. Road, Ellerslie, when she fell on a steep bank near Onoroa Boach on Saturday. Mrs. McKcnzie, who was attending the annual picnic of tho Devonport Returned Soldiers' Club, was attended at tho ambulance station at the beach and later was brought to Auckland by flie Duchess. A St. John ambulance conveyed the injured woman to the Auck* land Hospital.
