DESIRE FOR PROTECTION POSSIBILITY OF INVASION (Received December 21, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 20 The Observer's Brussels correspondent says the Premier of the Duchy of Luxemburg, M. Joseph Bech, conferred with the Belgian Government. It is believed Luxemburg is anxious lior closer political contact with Belgium, and also to secure an extension of the British guarantee to Luxemburg. It is understood France is prepared to include Luxemburg in the guarantee offered Belgium. The newspapers point cut that Luxemburg provides an ideal line of passage for German troops attacking the Maginot Line along the Belgian frontier.
