DISTINGUISHED VISITOR

DAME FLORENCE SIMPSON A distinguished visitor who will pass through Auckland on her way to Sydnov on Thursday on board the Monterey will be Dame Florence Simpson, D.H.K., Con trollcr-in-Cliief of tho Women's Army Auxiliary Corps during the war. This is Dame Florence's first visit to New Zealand. The Monterey will be met by Miss Constance Sutton, M..8.E. and others who served in the W.A.A.C. during the war. Dame Florence Simpson will be accompanied by Miss Violet Long, whose mother lost her life while an officer with the W.A.A.C.
