The dredge will bo in solid ground from to : day. Mataki (Murcliison). —31oz. for 129 hours and 8000 yards. Waipapa Beach (Southland). —220z. lSdwt. for 135 hours. Mossy Creek (West Coast).. —2ioz. l'klwt. for 127 hours and 8600 yards. WESTERN AUSTRALIA OUTPUT The gold yield for Western Australia in November was 72,0660z., valued at £639,499 in Australian currency. a decline of 47930z. on the yield for October, but 40430z. greater than that for November last year. Output for the 11 months this year is 757,144 oz., which is 105,5060z. in excess of the whole of 1934 production and 108,0970z. more than in 1935. The yield for 1936 will probably exceed 800,0000z.. which would bo the highest for 18 years. REPORTS OF MANAGERS BiK River ("Reefton).—For week ondod December 11: No. I level —In the centre stope, owing to values being too poor, work wis suspended and the men transferred to driving: on reef track, with stone Iff. to ISin. wide. No. o level—The south drive was advanced l'Jft., with reef showing on hangingwnll side 1 Sin. wide at top of drive and tapering down to a point at tlie bottom. The north drive was advanced lift, and is promising an improvement. A tota. of 3(1 tons of stone was delivered to the surface bins.
