GRENFELL MEDAL AWARDED Mrs. M, M. V. Pycroft, of Auckland, has been awarded the Grenfell Gold Medal by the Royal Horticultural Society for an exhibit of water colour paintings of New Zealand flora, wrote our London correspondent on November 21. The Grenfell Medal was struck in 1919 in memory of Field-Marshal Lord Grenfell, who was for some years president of tho Royal Horticultural Society.
