WOMEN'S CIVIC LEAGUE
Tho last mooting of tho yonr of tho Whangprei Women's Civic League was hold at tho homo of the president, Mrs. W. .T. Dawson. Members and friends were cordially welcomed and Mrs. Dawson, who introduced tho speaker, Mr. Forbes Giimore, chief inspector of the Fire Underwriters' Association for tho Dominion. An instructive address on hazards in the homo was given. Mr. Giimore also gave a recitation, "Mary, Queen of Scots."
