ONEHUNGA CARNIVAL

Tn continuation of its queen carnival being held to defray the cost of its new instruments the Onehunga Citizens' Hand, Auckland provincial B grade champions, combined with the Manukau Yacht and Sailing Club to stage a number of attractions on Saturday. A greasy pig competition and a duck race were among the best received. Various activities during the week will culminate with a gala day at Gloucester Park on Saturday, when it is intended to stage a sulky race from the city. The carnival will continue through the Christmas holidays, the coronation to take place in the New Year.
