NiMODA'S SERIOUS PLIGHT QUEENSLAND, COAST MISHAP (Received October 2, 7.05 p.m.) BRISBANE, Oct. •_> Carrying a full cargo of 'wool and sugar from Gladstone, Townsvillo and Cairns, the Main Lino freighter Xiinoda (-(•"576 tons), struck a reef off Princess Charlotte Hay, north of Cook town. The vessel is in serious danger. The Ximoda was built for the Haiti Steamship Company in 1929 by Messrs. Harland and Wolff, of Belfast. Her port of registry is London.
