LA MERI DANCE CONCERTS

BOX PLANS OPEN TO-DAY

Box plans open at Lewis Kncly's this morning for the first Auckland concerts, on .Saturday nest, of the famous international dancer Madame La Mori, who is to appear at His Majesty's Theatre for a season of five nights. La Mori enjoyed a very successful season in Australia recently and her Wellington audiences have been equally enthusiastic. The dancer's programme on Saturday will bo a lengthy one and will include all manner of dances ranging from the traditional ballet dances to the colourful Spanish Castanet and shawl dances. Madame La Meri will be assisted by Signora Laura Mollica, a closer young artist from Italy, while the brilliant pianist Mario Salerno and his trio will contributo items during the short intervals between the dances. The entire presentation will be staged with the same lavishness which has aroused wide comment overseas.
