The association spent £5-1 during the year on junior coaching, with beneficial results to players. Owing to the unfavourable financial results of the Davis Cu;) matches played by New Zealand in the European zone during the previous two years it was decided not to enter a challenge for I!):»). The loss for the two years was £2-17. The statement of accounts shows an excess of expenditure over income for the year oi £lO7, which is explained by the expenditure of £3Ol by the association in connection with the visit of players to Australia. HUNTLY CLUB [from our own correspondent] lIUNTLY, Thursday At the annual meeting of tho Huntly Tennis Club it was reported that tho new courts at the Domain were being formed, but it was not known definitely if they would be ready for the commencement of the season. As previously arranged with tho Borough Council, the sum of £IOO had been paid toward the laying of tho courts. This payment left the club with a credit balance of £7O. Officers elected for tho ensuing year were as follows: —President, Mr. A. H. Berry; vice-presidents, Messrs. I. Kosoof and It. Trautveller; secretary, Mr. J. A. Malcolm; assistant secretary, Mr. G. Collins; treasurer, Mr. M. Fisher; auditor, Mr. E. V. Daldy; committee. Misses E. A. Forbes, S. Bryant, V Kosoof, I. Smith, M. Morris, Mrs. I. Kosoof, Mrs. A. H. Berry, Messrs. T. Furniss and I). Low; delegates to Lower Waikato Tennis Association, Messrs. I. Kosoof, J. Malcolm and A. H. Berry; ladder and handicap committee, Mrs. Berry, Misses Kosoof, Harris, Messrs. Fisher and Kosoof. Mr A. 11. Berry, who is the oldest member of tiie club, was elected a life member in recognition of bis valuable services.
