DAVIS CUP MATCHES The Davis Cup competition of the Auckland Hockey Association will bo continued to-ir.orrow when keen games aro anticipated. The draw is as follows:—Grammar Old Boys v. Somcrville, Papatoetoe No. 2, 2.30 p.m.; Mount Eden v. Training College, Remuera No. 1, 1.15 p.m.; University v. Y.M.C.A., Remuera No. 1, 3.5 p.m.; Papatoetoe v. St. Luko s. Papatoetoe No 1, 2.30 p.m. FIJIAN LADIES' VISIT A fast match is anticipated at Eden Park to-inorrow, whon the Fijian ladies' hockey team will play tho Auckland lady representatives. The visitors to date have found tho New Zealand grounds troublesome, but under fine conditions to-morrow aro expected to give a good exhibition. The personnel of the teams will not bo announced until to-day. NORDON CUP RETAINED WAIRARAPA'S CHALLENGE [BY TELEORAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] HASTINGS, Thursday The Nordon Cup. tho emblem of supremacy in hockey in the minor districts of New Zealand. was retained by tho Hastings representatives after a drawn game, without score, a trains! Wairarapa this afternoon. This was the I Ith defence of tho trophy. It was probrbly the hardest and most exciting of tho scries. The holders were very fortunate to retain the cup, for on the actual merits of tho play tho honours rested with the visitors.
