M.P.'S WAR NOVEL

PUBLICATION NEXT YEAR BOOK BY MR. J. A. LEE [dy telegraph—special reporter] WELLINGTON, Thnrsday Advice lias been received by Mr. J. A. Lee, M.P., that his war novel will be published next year by his London ,publishers, Messrs. T. Werner Laurie. Actually it is Mr. Lee's first novel, as it was written in Rotorua in 1929. However, it will be his third novel to he published. The first was "Children of the Poor," originally published anonymously, and another book, "The Hunted," is to make its appearance shortly. Mr. Leo's war novel will be the first written by a soldier who served in the New Zealand Division, although numerous other war "books have been written by New Zealand authors.
