YOUNG WOMAN AT KAITAIA [by telegraph-—own connrcspoxnrcNT] KAITAIA, Saturday An accident occurred in tho main street of Kaitaia late this afternoon, when Miss F, Kunicich, a young woman whoso parents reside in this district, but who has for some years been living in Auckland and lias just returned for .a holiday, was knocked I)}' a heavy motor-truck.

Miss Kunicich had just alighted from a bus and walked in front to cross the road. She was conveyed to the Kaitaia Hospital, where tho full extent of her injuries are not yet known, but it is not considered that lier condition is very serious.
