YUGOSLAVIA DEFEATED VICTORY FOR GERMANY WILL MEET AUSTRALIA By Tolegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rccoirod July 12, 5.5 p.m.) ZAGREH. July 11 Germany eliminated Yugoslavia in the Davis Cup contest to-day when von Cramm and Henkel beat Mitic and Kukuljevic in the doubles, B—6, 4 —G, 6—3, 4-6, 6—3. The singles yesterday resulted as follows :—Von Cramm beat Pallada, 6—4, 6—2, 6—B, 6—2; Henkel beat Puncec, 6—l, 6—2, 6—4. Von Cramm has fully recovered from the injury he suffered at Wibledon, in the final against Perry. Henkel wns nt the top of his form, and had a surprisingly easy win. Puncec, who is ranked No. 1 in Yugoslavia, started poorly, and although he improved later, Henkel was always the master. Germany will meet Australia, and the winner will meet Britain in the challenge round.
